Keep making music, keep sharing.

Start your virtual ensemble.

Work with the nation’s best audio engineers and video editors from Arts Laureate (LA Master Chorale, Choral Arts Society of Washington, Kansas City Symphony, Virginia Symphony, National Children’s Chorus, “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band, et al) to create your very own virtual choir, band, orchestra, or chamber group. Reach beyond the walls of the concert hall and into the homes of your students, their families, friends, community, and world. The process of rehearsing and recording will develop ears and voices and help students to engage with musical concepts in a new and intense way.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does it take? We recommend allowing six to eight weeks from project conception to project completion. It takes five business days to create your guides, and then four weeks from the time we receive your submissions to the time we have a finished product.

  • Can I record with my band? What about the orchestra? For sure!

  • Can my church record too? Of course! Send a note, and we can make a virtual ensemble for your service.

  • How do the students record? Student can record on almost any device: cellphone, tablet, desktop, laptop, camera. They will hit “Record” and sing or play along while listening to the backing track with headphones on. This is just like being in a recording studio, except you can stay a home. Here are the instructions.

  • Why does this sound familiar? Don’t I know you? Yes, you probably do! Meet the team here.

  • How do we start? You’ll need a guide track! It might be a rehearsal recording from a publisher, an export from Sibelius or Finale, or even a video of another group performing, from YouTube. You just need something that everyone can perform to.

  • Then what? The students will upload their tracks to our custom link, a folder which you will have access to. This is your chance to provide feedback for individuals and for the group as a whole.

  • What happens to the files? We sync the files, mix the audio, improve the video and audio quality, and can post the master online.

  • How many pieces can I record? Do one, at least! And then another piece every week or two.

  • How much does it cost? $40 per video submission for the standard editing, plus a one-time set-up (per school or organization). See rates.
